It is a dark day in the WWE as Pat Patterson, longtime employee and former wrestler passed away today at the age of 78. From Quebec, Patterson first wrestled in 1958, and rose up the ranks, moving from promotion to promotion, winning many regional titles.  Hid best early work was considered to be his tag team with Ray Stevens as the Blonde Bombers.  Based out of San Francisco, many modern tag team wrestlers cite the Bombers as one of the most influential tag teams of the 1970s. The College Basketball Hall of Fame has announced the Class of 2021, which will comprise of six former players and two coaches. The new inductees are: Len Bias, Maryland 1982-86:  One of the best athletes in Terrapin history, Bias was a two-time ACC Player of the Year, and was a Consensus First Team All-American in 1986.  Bias tragically died two days after he was taken second overall by the Boston Celtics from a cocaine overdose. The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame has announced which day that the Class of 2000 will be officially inducted. A three-day induction event scheduled for May 13-15 will happen in Springfield, Massachusetts, which houses the Hall of Fame. The 2020 Class consists of Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Rudy Tomjanovich, Eddie Sutton, Kim Mulkey and Barbara Stevens. The induction of Bryant, will be posthumous, as he died tragically in a helicopter crash on January 26 of this year.

A huge day is afoot for us as the Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced their 25 Semi-Finalists for the Class of 2021. During last night’s UFC 255 Broadcast, Marc Ratner was announced as the latest member for the UFC Hall of Fame.  He will be inducted in the Contributor Wing.
