The day after the Baseball Hall of Fame unveiled their official 2019 ballot, a top name has emerged for the 2024 ballot as Adrian Beltre has announced his retirement from baseball. We have a significant retirement to discuss in baseball as Joe Mauer of the Minnesota Twins has elected to retire from the game after playing 15 seasons in the Majors, all of which were with the Twins. The National Toy Hall of Fame has announced that the three new inductees are the Magic 8 Ball, Uno and Pinball. These toys will comprise the Class of 2018. Going forward they will be on display inside the Strong Museum in Rochester, New York and will join the 65 other honorees. It is a pretty big day in the Baseball Hall of Fame as the Today’s Game Era Committee has announced their 10 nominees for the Hall. This is one of four committees, which includes the Modern Baseball, Golden Days and Early Baseball. Specifically, the Today’s Game Era Committee comprises candidates whose contributions occurred from 1988 on. It is a sad day for baseball and the city of San Francisco as Willie McCovey passed away at the age of 80. It is not known at this time as to how he passed away. Debuting for the San Francisco Giants in 1959, he would make an immediate impact going four for four his first game, against future Hall of Famer, Robin Roberts. A quick note on our WWE Futures sections as we have added three names to that section. Paige, Colt Cabana and Natalya have been added. Paige, who currently serves as the Smackdown Live GM, was forced to retire from in ring competition a few months ago. Due to her youth, we are putting her on the Futures section as she could mimic Daniel Bryan and return one day.
