2004 Hockey Inductees

Let’s just call the Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2004, the tribute to Defence, shall we? Larry Murphy, Paul Coffey and Ray Bourque. There will never be a trip of a talented blueliners like that in a Class again.
Cliff Fletcher may have only won one Stanley Cup, but he brought a brilliant hockey mind to various clubs and brought them a lot closer to the dance than they would have had without him. Arguably the top Defenceman in his era, Ray Bourque would finish his career as the highest scoring blueliner in NHL history. Bourque would be named to a staggering nineteen Post Season All Star Teams and would win the James Norris Trophy five times.
