Yesterday, we discussed how it wouldn’t be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without a potential inductee (in this case it was Trent Reznor) essentially saying it was worthless. It also wouldn’t be the Rock Hall with another potential inductee (Ted Nugent) implying it was criminal that he was not included. It wouldn’t be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without a high profile artist stating that they don’t want any part of it. Trent Reznor just added his name to that list. It is a sad day for fans of the Green Bay Packers and Pro Football in general as Hall of Fame Fullback Jim Taylor passed away today at the age of 83. We discussed a significant change that took place in the process of the voting of the International Tennis Hall of Fame whereby a fan vote would be put in place that would assist the top three vote getters. How it works is that the top vote getter will receive a three percent boost in, the second place finisher a two percent boost and the third place finisher a one percent increase in the vote percentage whereby a 75% vote is needed for induction. The World Golf Hall of Fame has announced their five new members who have received the necessary 75 percent from the 16 member selection committee. The 2019 World Golf Hall of Fame Class will be: Retief Goosen: From South Africa, Goosen won 33 worldwide tournaments, which included the 2001 and 2004 U.S. Open. The American Hockey League has announced the Hall of Fame Class of 2019, which will be the 14th Class of the 80 year old league. The AHL has largely served as a feeder system to the National Hockey League and is now completely affiliated with the NHL.
