The Mid-American Conference has announced the six new members of their Athletic Hall of Fame. The new members are: Bryan Bullington – Ball State, Baseball (2000-02): Bullington holds the career record in Strikeouts in the MAC (357), and has the most Wins in Cardinals history (29). The Pitcher was an All-American in 2002, and he was a two-time MAC Player of the Year. Bullington was the first player from the MAC to be drafted number one, and he would go on to play in the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals. Floyd Little diagnosed with cancer

It was announced today that Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Floyd Little, 77, is battling cancer. A GoFundMe page has been set up by Patrick Killorin, his teammate at Syracuse to help with the expenses to fight the disease. Little was a three-time All-American, and his number 44 was retired by the Orange. The Halfback was chosen seventh overall in the 1967 Draft by the Denver Broncos, which would be the only NFL team he ever played for. Hall of Fame related news continues for us, as Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame has announced that six athletes and five builders will be entering their Hall. The six new athletes are: Jackie Barrett: Barrett won 13 Gold Medals at the Special Olympics World Summer Games. A few days following the passing of Jerry Sloan, another Hall of Fame Coach passed away. Eddie Sutton, one of the most successful college coaches died at the age of 84. A Head Coach at Division I for nearly four decades, Sutton took four different schools to the NCAA tournament. As a player, Sutton played at Oklahoma State (1955-58), and following his playing days, transitioned into a role as an Assistant Coach for one year. It is a sad day in the Basketball world as long time Hall of Fame Coach, Jerry Sloan, passed away today at the age of 78. He passed away from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson Disease. Playing his college ball at Evansville, Sloan was a two-time NBA All-Star and four-time First Team Defensive player, with a career spent mostly in Chicago. Tonight, during the UFC on ESPN 8 broadcast it was announced that Kevin Randleman will be entering the UFC Hall of Fame in the Pioneer Wing. Randleman was a two-time NCAA Wrestling Champion in the 177-pound weight class and the former Ohio State Buckeye, and he would have his first professional fight in 1996.
