DeMario Davis began his career with the Jets, where, after four years, he signed with Cleveland only to be traded back to the Jets a year later, where he had his best season to date, resulting in a bidding war where he signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2018.

Davis remained an unheralded, yet potent interior Linebacker, and while he has only been a Pro Bowl with the Saints twice, he is on a current five-year streak where he earned All-Pro accolades (one First Team and four Second Team).  Davis kept his tackling numbers strong, continuing his run of (now seven) 100-Tackle campaigns, while being able to switch over effortlessly to pass rushing when needed.

Davis is in his mid-30s, but is playing the best football of his life.  He has 31 Sacks and 811 Tackles for New Orleans and should have a lot more left.

Yes, we know that this is taking a while!

As many of you know, we here at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the 50 of each major North American sports team.  That being said, we have existing Top 50 lists out and we always consistently look to update them when we can and based on necessity.  As such, we are very happy to present our post-2021 revision of our top 50 Miami Dolphins.

As for all of our top 50 players in football we look at the following:

1.  Advanced Statistics.

2.  Traditional statistics and how they finished in the National Football League.

3.  Playoff accomplishments.

4.  Their overall impact on the team and other intangibles not reflected in a stat sheet.

Last year, the then-named Washington Football Team again failed to make the Playoffs.  There are no new entrants our list, but one significant jump, though it did not impact the top 40.

As always, we present our top five:

1. Sammy Baugh

2. Darrell Green

3. Chris Hanburger

4. Charley Taylor

5. Art Monk

You can find the entire list here.

The only change was Offensive Lineman, Brandon Scherff, who joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in the off-season is the only move, going to #30 from #48.

We welcome your input and comments and as always, we thank you for your support.

The only change was Cornerback, Xavien Howard, who is a two-time leader in Interceptions and now a three-time Pro Bowl Selection, moved up from #49 to #31..

The recently concluded 2022 NFL Draft was one for the books. National champions, the Georgia Bulldogs, sent 15 players to the NFL, a new record that eclipses the previous tally set by LSU Tigers in 2020 and Ohio State Buckeyes in 2004 (14 draft picks each). Not only that, Georgia had five defensive players from its title-winning team selected in the first round of the draft. And why not? The Bulldogs defensive unit was ranked the best in the country by the Associated Press, and allowed only 10.2 points per game throughout the 2021 season.
