Yes, we know that this is taking a while! As many of you know, we here at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the 50 of each major North American sports team.  That being said, we have existing Top 50 lists out and we always consistently look to update them when we can and based on necessity.  As such, we are very happy to present our pre-2021 revision of our top 50 Denver Broncos of all-time. The St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame announced that former MVP, Keith Hernandez won the fan vote and will be the next member of their institution. Hernandez beat out Steve Carlton, Lee Smith, Matt Morris and Edgar Renteria to earn this honor. With St. Louis, Hernandez was a two-time All-Star, one-time Silver Slugger and six-time Gold Glove winner, and he co-won the 1979 MVP with Willie Stargell of Pittsburgh.  The First Baseman won the Batting Title (.344) that year, and was also the National League leader in Runs (116) and Doubles (48).  Hernandez was also a key part of St. Louis’ World…

Roberto Alomar has been placed on Major League Baseball’s ineligible list following an investigation of a sexual misconduct incident in 2014.  Alomar, who had been working as a consultant with MLB and was also a special assistant with the Toronto Blue Jays was immediately terminated from both roles.   The Jays, whom he won two World Series Titles with, announced that they will sever all ties with their former Second Baseman.  This includes removing a banner that honors his retired #12, and also his name from their ring of honor.   The Baseball Hall of Fame, who inducted Alomar in 2011, will not be…

Sean Lee Retires

The retirements keep coming in sports, as Dallas Cowboy Linebacker, Sean Lee, is calling it a career after 11 seasons. Lee arrived in Dallas as a Second Round Pick from Penn State in 2010 and was their starting Middle Linebacker as a sophomore.  Lee would lead the NFL in Interception Return Yards (174) in 2013, but a torn ACL took him out of the entire 2014 Season. Despite the setback, Lee returned to the Cowboys, and put forth the best back-to-back campaigns of his professional career.  Lee went to the Pro Bowl with a 128-Tackle year, and in 2016, he improved it…
After what can only be described as a trying league for European Football, it is nice to move on with something positive, as the Premier League Hall of Fame has announced their first two members. Former Blackburn and Newcastle star, Alan Shearer and former Arsenal player, Thierry Henry are the first two members of a group that will also include six more members based on a public vote. One of the greatest comebacks in professional football has come to an end, as Quarterback, Alex Smith, has officially retired from the NFL. Smith came into the pros with lofty expectations, and how could that not be the case when you are a Quarterback who was taken first overall?  From Utah, it was the San Francisco 49ers who chose him in 2005, but it was a mixed bag of success, as he struggled on the field and with injuries.   Missing the 2008 season due to shoulder issues, Smith had to fight to get his job back in 2009, but again, he…
