The problem with running a Hall of Fame-related website is that many of the big ones we cover all have announcements within months of each other.  The backbone of what we do is list-related, resulting in a long push to revise what we already have, specifically now with our Football Hockey and Basketball Lists.

At present, we have a minor update as we have completed the next ten of the 2024 Hockey List, which you can comment on and vote on:

The new 41 to 50:

41. Paul Henderson
42. Bobby Smith
43. Patrik Elias
44. Andy Moog
45. Vladimir Krutov
46. Brian Propp
47. Pat Stapleton
48. Alexei Kasatonov
49. Neal Broten
50. Mathieu Schneider

Rankings are impacted annually based on your comments and votes.

Thank you all for your patience. We will soon unveil more changes to the football and basketball lists.

28. Dion Dawkins

As of this writing, Dion Dawkins has played the entirety of his NFL career with the Buffalo Bills, earning the starting job at Left Tackle as a rookie in 2017.

Becoming an essential protector of Quarterback Josh Allen, Dawkins came into his own in 2021, where he started a four-year run of consecutive Pro Bowls, all of which saw him exceed 10 in Approximate Value.  A fifth Pro Bowl in 2025 will jump him up this list again next year.

From Texas A&M, Nnamdi Madubuike did not see that much playing time in his rookie year (2020), but proved he could compete for a starting Defensive Lineman position in his second season.  Showing gradual improvement, Madubuike broke out in 2023 with a 13-Sack/33 Quarterback Hit year and a reputation as one of the game’s best disruptors.  Madubuike earned a Second Team All-Pro Selection, a Pro Bowl, and was ninth in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

Last season, Madubuike continued his elevation in modern defensive lore with his second straight Pro Bowl. He enters 2025 as a key to a potent Ravens defense and a possible Super Bowl contender.

In 2018, Roquan Smith was the 8th Overall Pick in the 2018 Draft, with the Chicago Bears as his landing spot.  Smith had a great run in the Windy City, but after he failed to negotiate a contract extension before the 2022 season, he wanted a way out.  Smith continued to dominate on the field, but with the Bears knowing that he wanted out, he was traded to Baltimore midway through the 2022 season, where he became an instant dominant player in the interior.

Smith, already considered one of the best inside linebackers before he was traded, accelerated his game and finished his season as a First Team All-Pro, which was the first time he had ever done so.  Smith tasted the postseason for the first time, and in 2023, Smith had his best year in the NFL, adding his second straight First Team All-Pro, where he had his first taste of Defensive Player of the Year votes.  Last season, Smith again had a 150-plus tackle year and was a First Season All-Pro for the third year in a row.

The Baltimore Ravens’ (as of this writing) brief time with Roquan Smith is one of the most impressive brief stints in franchise history.
