Yao Ming to the Basketball HOF

It has been reported by multiple sources that Yao Ming will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
The greatest star in the history of Chinese Basketball, Ming began his career in the Chinese league and was the first pick in the 2002 NBA Draft. Ming was an eight time All Star who averaged 19 Points and 9.2 Rebounds per year. Ming retired in 2011 following a series of injuries his feet and ankles.
Ming, who was ranked #3 by us at Notinhalloffame.com, will be the International representative and is almost single handedly responsible for elevating the game in China.
We here at Notinhalloffame.com would like to congratulate Yao Ming and will be watching intensely to see who will join him.

The Country Music HOF announces the latest class

The Country Music Hall of Fame has announced their latest class and while we have yet to do a ranking of those not yet enshrined, this is certainly one of the largest Halls of Fame of note and one that has been expanding in size and stature.
For many the sentimental headliner is Randy Travis who two years ago suffered a stroke and is barely able to speak. Travis had a plethora of country hits in the past and at one time was arguably the biggest draws of the genre.
Travis will be joined by Charlie Daniels, who in 1979 had a major crossover hit with “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”, which remains a staple on country and classic rock stations.
The third inductee for the Hall if Fred Foster, the founder of Monument Records, which helped to launch the career of Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and Kris Kristofferson.
We here at Notinhalloffame.com would like to congratulate the latest class for this prestigious institution and openly wonder why we have not gotten around to doing a list for this one yet!

Snoop Dogg to the WWE HOF

Another day, another series of news about the WWE Hall of Fame.
While it was speculated that Regis Philbin would be this year’s celebrity WWE HOF inductee, it was announced that rapper, Snoop Dogg will be the one receiving the honor.
Snoop, the cousin of WWE Diva, Sasha Banks has made numerous appearances on WWE Television. He appeared on two Wrestlemnias’, most notably as the Master of Ceremonies in the Wrestlemania 24 “Lumberjill Match” and was also seen on RAW knocking out former WWE Superstar, Chavo Guerrero.
While this would not be one we here at Notinhalloffame.com would have chosen, Snoop is a fan of the product and we expect him to appreciate the accolade.

The next North American franchise, that we will look at in regards to the Top 50 of All-Time are the Texas Rangers. The Rangers have yet to win the World Series but they have been very competitive as of late and are a solid contender to win the big one in upcoming years.
