We lost a legend today. George Foreman, a two-time Heavyweight Champion passed away at the age of 76. Foreman won Gold in the 1968 Olympics and turned pro shortly thereafter.  After amassing 37 consecutive wins, he received a shot at Joe Frazier for the World Heavyweight Title, which he won via a second round knockout.  Foreman then defended the belt against Jose Roman and Ken Norton, and proceeded to face former champion, Muhammad Ali, in the famed “Rumble in the Jungle” in Zaire.  Foreman lost to Ali, and retired in 1977 after he lost to Jimmy Young. 1975 SEMI-FINAL RESULTS: Thank you for all of your participation in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Revisited Project. If you are unaware of what that is, we acted like the PFHOF had its first class in January 1946. We have completed the years up to 1974. For “1975,” a Preliminary Vote with nearly 100 players whose playing career ended by 1969. We are also following the structure in that players have 20 years of eligibility, and if they do not make it into the Hall, they are relegated to the Senior Pool. Each voter was asked to select 25…
Yes, we know that this is taking a while! As many of you know, we at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the top 50 of each major North American sports team. That being said, we have existing Top 50 lists and consistently look to update them when necessary and based on necessity. As such, we are delighted to present our post-2024 revision of our top 50 St. Louis Cardinals. Once that is done, we will examine how each team honors its past players, coaches, and executives. As such, it is important to us that the Kansas City Royals will induct Alex Gordon into their franchise Hall of Fame.
