A day after the Baseball Hall of Fame announced their official ballot for the 2023 Class, the Pro Football Hall of Fame counters with the Semi-Finalists for their 2023 Class Normally they nominate 25 men, but likely due to a tie vote, we have 28 official Semi-Finalists.  This group includes five First Year eligible candidates. Let’s take a look! The ballot is now official! The Baseball Hall of Fame has announced the 24 men who comprise the ballot for their 2023 Hall of Fame Class. To make the Hall of Fame, the former player must obtain at least 75% of the vote from the voting body.  If a player has at least 5% they can remain on the ballot for the following year, however, a candidate can only stay on the ballot for ten years. Whether you love them or hate them, you have to acknowledge that Nickelback has been incredibly successful.  It was announced yesterday that they will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2023 Juno Awards. From Alberta, the Junos will be taking place in their home province in Edmonton.  Breaking out in 2001, Nickelback have sold over 50 million albums, and have hit number one on the Canadian charts seven times, with ten top ten hits.   We here at Notinhalloffame.com would like to congratulate Nickelback for their impending honor.

RIP: Peter McNab

One of the great players in Bruins history passed away with the death of Peter McNab, who lost his battle with cancer.  He was 70 years old. A late round pick by the Buffalo Sabres in 1972, McNabb had his best years with the Boston Bruins, where he was an All-Star in 1977.  Finishing in the top ten in Goals twice, McNab had 813 Points over his career, which also stops in Vancouver and New Jersey. Although McNab was born in British Columbia, McNab would later represent the United States, most notably in the 1986 World Hockey Championship.   Following his retirement in…
