7. Dave Batista
Dave Batista got a late start in professional wrestling but he had the look and size that was coveted by the WWE and a multi-faceted personality that allowed him to excel as both a face and as a heel in during his career.

He would quickly overcome a horrible debut as “Deacon Batista” and would become part of Triple H’s stable of Evolution and was catapulted into stardom. The muscle and monster of the group would break out before Randy Orton, and would headline Wrestlemania in Los Angeles in 2005.

Big Dave would be a headliner for the remainder of his days in the WWE and though his return in 2014 was not a successful one, his foray into Hollywood was and should he never return to wrestling he has nothing left to prove.

Notably, Batista was named to the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame, and when it was pushed to 2021 due to COVID, he withdrew due to his inability to attend the ceremony.  We are sure he will enter the Hall soon.
