Reggie Nelson was an All-American in 2006, and a BCS Champion in 2007 with the Florida Gators.  This collegiate success garnered him a First Round Pick (21^stOverall) with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Phil Dawson was a Pro Bowl Selection in 2012, which would be the only one in the Place Kicker’s career, but this should not deflect from what was a long and successful run in the National Football League.

Muhammad Wilkerson was a First Team All-MAC Selection in 2010, and the Temple player was taken 30^thOverall by the New York Jets in the 2011 Draft.

Despite being a backup at USC to Heisman Trophy winners Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart, Cassel was drafted to the NFL by the New England Patriots in the Seventh Round in 2005, where he would become the backup to Tom Brady.  When you play behind a legend, you aren't expected to see much action except for garbage time, but an opportunity arose in Game 1 of the 2008 season when Brady went down with a torn ACL.
