We here at Notinhalloffame.com will continue our new tradition at reporting the actions of each major franchises’ respective Hall of Fame. It is part of a long range plan to eventually look at each team in the four major North American sports.

The New Orleans Saints have announced a new addition to their Hall of Fame. The Saints are coming off a disappointing season, and long-time fans remember the awful seasons where they were known collectively around the League as the “Aints”. However, they are three years removed from a Super Bowl, and the Saints have had an overall good track record over the last decade.

However, we are digressing. The latest entrant to their Hall of Fame is La’ Roi Glover, who played five seasons in New Orleans. While there, Glover played Right Defensive Tackle and twice went to the Pro Bowl. His best season was 2000, when he was also named to the All Pro Team, and led the NFL in sacks with 17.

We congratulate La’ Roi Glover for entering the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.
Our work on the existing Hockey Hall of Fame Classes continue. We have now made our way to the exciting year of 1967. This is the year that doubled the size of teams in the National Hockey League and shrunk the size of Hall of Fame induction classes. There were only three members of this class, and from here on in, the classes would remain relatively small. The Class of 1967 contained:

Harry Oliver

Neil Colville

Turk Broda

WWE.Com has reported that long time performer; Paul Bearer has passed away at the age of 58. Born William Moody, Bearer first gained significant traction as a wrestling manager named, Percival Pringle III in WCCW and later the USWA. He would move to the then named World Wrestling Federation, and adopted the Paul Bearer name as the manager of the Undertaker in early 1991.

It was a perfect fit, as Moody was actually a licensed mortician, and he played the creepy manager perfectly. Bearer would manage the Undertaker for five years, before turning on him at Summer Slam 96 and aligning with Mankind. Bearer would later form an association with Vader, but would engage in another program with the Undertaker, when he unveiled Kane, who was the younger brother of the “Dead Man”. Kane would later be revealed to be Paul Bearer’s son, and the three would remain intertwined in various storylines for years to come.

Over the last ten years, Bearer would appear infrequently on WWE television, and occasionally for other promotions. Unfortunately, Bearer would not be in the best health, as his weight had reached well over the 500 pound mark, though he did have gastric bypass surgery to lose weight.

We offer our condolences to the family of William Moody, and will remember the years of entertainment he gave us.
Our work on the existing Hockey Hall of Fame Classes continue. We have now made our way to 1966. The class before the 1967 NHL Expansion gives us an excellent group worthy of a good look. This bunch includes:

Babe Pratt

Butch Bouchard

Clarence Campbell

Elmer Lach

Frank Brimsek

Ken Reardon

Max Bentley

Ted Kennedy

Ted Lindsay

Toe Blake
