Swedish Defenseman, Tommy Albelin debuted in the NHL with the Quebec Nordiques in 1987, but Quebec gave up on him, trading him to New Jersey for only a Fourth Round Pick. It turned out to be a quiet thievery by the Devils.
Kyle Palmieri was a First Round Pick by Anaheim in 2009, and he was a Duck until the summer of 2015, when he was traded to the New Jersey Devils. It was in Jersey where the American's career took off.
Yes, we know that this is taking a while!
As many of you know, we here at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the 50 of each major North American sports team. That being said, we have existing Top 50 lists out and we always consistently look to update them when we can and based on necessity. As such, we are very happy to present the second revision of our top 50 Green Bay Packers of all-time.
As for all of our top 50 players in football we look at the following:
1. Advanced Statistics.
2. Traditional statistics and how they finished in the National Football League.
3. Playoff accomplishments.
4. Their overall impact on the team and other intangibles not reflected in a stat sheet.
This is the second revision of the Packers, and our first since last year.
The complete list can be found here, but as always we announce our top five in this article. They are:
1. Brett Favre
2. Don Hutson
4. Bart Starr
5. Ray Nitschke
The top five remains unaltered from our last rank and there are no new entries, however, there were two significant changes overall.
Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers inched up from #7 to #6. Offensive Lineman, David Bahktiari, debuts at #37. It was an oversight on our part not to have had Bahktiari enter the list in our last revision.
We welcome your input and commentsand as always, we thank you for your support.
In his fifth year in the NHL, Jason Arnott was traded from his first NHL club, the Edmonton Oilers to New Jersey, where he finished off the 1997-98 Season providing scoring depth to the Devils.
