Mick Foley
Mick Foley

When we spoke with Mick Foley he mentioned that there was a plan to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame in Madison Square Garden as far back as 2003.  Many signs point to his relationship with the WWE being mended so it would stand to reason that he could enter the Hall soon.  Would anyone have any issue if he did?

If so, they shouldn’t.  Mick Foley has been dubbed the Hardcore Legend and may very well be the most respected wrestler of his generation for the way that he put his body on the line night after night.  Many of his matches are considered classics and despite the amount of Hardcore moments he had in the ring, Foley was a far more accomplished wrestler then given credit for.  Think about this for a moment; Mick Foley created Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love which all became iconic figures in the WWF.  You could add a fourth, As Mick may have eclipsed his three characters combined by wrestling as just “Mick Foley”, who through his books, acting and charitable work is known for his natural personality and intelligence.

With his tenure in TNA done, many have speculated that this could pave a way for his return to the WWE and to the Hall of Fame itself.  We now this much; when it is this difficult to discern what his top five moments were (because there was so much to choose from) it sounds like a Hall of Famer to us.
