The one time sit-up record holder (accomplished when he was in the Navy), Poffo would hold singles and tag team titles in the Midwest, but in terms of wrestling he might be best known (with the exception of being Randy’s dad of course) for his creation of the renegade promotion, International Championship Wrestling in Kentucky.
Realistically, the chances for Angelo Poffo are slim, as Lanny Poffo had stated that the only way that his brother (Randy) wanted to go into the WWE Hall of Fame was with the Poffo family. Since Randy did posthumously go in, why would the WWE bother to induct Angelo now?
