Playing at Right Tackle, he started 135 of his 138 Games for Miami and was twice named to the Pro Bowl (1972 & 1974). Evans was a vital cog in the three straight Super Bowl appearances and the two wins in the 1970s.
Coincidentally, his exit mirrored his entrant, where he was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1976 Expansion Draft. He played there three more years before retiring.
