Walls would win the starting Left Cornerback’s job as a rookie, and he led the NFL in Interceptions with what would be a career-high of 11. He again led the NFL in picks the following season, and again in 1985, and while he “only” had four INTs in 1983, he was so dominant at his position that he was named a First Team All-Pro. He played with Dallas until he signed with their division rival, the New York Giants in 1990. Walls would have 44 Interceptions for Dallas, which second in franchise history only behind Mel Renfro.
Walls won the Super Bowl in his first season with the G-Men.
