Drafted 3rd overall in 2013, Jon Gray made his Major League debut for the Colorado Rockies in 2015. The following season, he was a fixture in the Rockies’ starting rotation.
Gray would win at least 10 Games every year from 2016 to 2019, and in three of those years he fanned a least 150 batters. While his ERA has left a bit to be desired, his SO/9 was solid and when baseball returned for a full season in 2021, he again had a 150-plus Strikeout year. Gray signed with the Texas Rangers after 2021, leaving Colorado with a 53-49 Record and 849 Strikeouts.
