Veach debuted in the Majors in 1912, and he had a breakout season three years later when he led the American League in Doubles (40) and Runs Batted In (112), and he had his first .300 year. Veach batted over .300 seven more times, including a .355 average in 1919, which coincided with the first time he ever finished first in Hits (191). He had another two seasons where he led the AL in RBIs, and he played until 1925, ending his career with brief stops in Boston, New York (AL), and Washington.
Veach would have a lifetime Batting Average of .310 with 2,063 career Hits.
