Carly Simon

If it is true that “You’re So Vain” is about David Geffen (Not who we thought it would be either), the only question we have left is could she be the next Singer/Songwriter in the Hall.

Lame questions aside, the beloved Singer/Songwriter was more than just that smash hit. Of the aforementioned genre, Carly Simon may not have been the most successful but she might have among the most devoted fan base. Her wide range class appeal was enhanced by her association with other Singer/Songwriters and with a voice that could be both soothing and bittersweet she certainly had a unique appeal about her. Singer/Songwriters are populated in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and though we have many ranked higher, it would not be a complete shock if she was the next to get in.

Should Carly Simon be in the Hall of Fame?

Definitely put her in! - 90.1%
Maybe, but others deserve it first. - 3.7%
Probably not, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. - 5%
No opinion. - 0.6%
No way! - 0.6%
