gold star for USAHOF

Yes, we know that this is taking a while!

As many of you know, we at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the top 50 of each major North American sports team. That being said, we maintain and update our existing Top 50 lists annually.  We are pleased to present our post-2025 revision of our top 50 Jacksonville Jaguars.

As for all of our top 50 players in football, we look at the following:

1.  Duration and Impact.

2.  Traditional statistics and how they finished in the National Football League.

3.  Advanced Statistics.

4.  Playoff performance.

5. Their respective legacy on the team.

6. How successful the team was when he was there.

7. Respecting the era in which they played.

Criteria 1-4 will make up the lion’s share of the algorithm.  Please note that we have implemented this for the first time.  This has changed the rankings all throughout the board.

Last year, the Jaguars went 13-4 and won the AFC South, but lost to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card.  As a young franchise coming off a good year, there were three additions and two elevations in the Top 50.

As always, we present our top five, with no changes occurring.

1. Jimmy Smith
2. Fred Taylor
3. Tony Boselli
4. Mark Brunell
5. Maurice Jones-Drew

You can find the complete list here:

Two-time Pro Bowl Linebacker Josh Hines-Allen rocketed from #28 to #16.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence also jumped significantly.  He moved from #33 to #21.

Linebacker Devin Lloyd, who is now with the Carolina Panthers, makes his first appearance on the list.  He is ranked at #34.

Running Back Travis Etienne Jr., who is now with the New Orleans Saints, enters at #35.

Linebacker Foyesade Oloukun makes his first appearance at #49.

We thank you for your continued support of our lists on Notinhalloffame.com.

Taken 25th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Clemson, Travis Etienne Jr. reunited with his college quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, bringing explosive, big-play ability to the offense. His professional debut was delayed after a Lisfranc injury sustained during the preseason sidelined him for his entire rookie season, postponing his backfield debut until the following fall.

When he took the field in 2022, Etienne quickly showed the acceleration and contact balance that made him a consensus college All-American. He took over primary rushing duties midway through his breakout year, finishing with 1,125 rushing yards at 5.1 yards per carry. His defining single-game highlight came during the AFC Wild Card Round, when his clutch 25-yard conversion on fourth-and-short set up the game-winning field goal to complete a historic 27-point comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Etienne established himself as a durable dual-threat weapon across subsequent seasons, logging back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing campaigns in 2022 and 2023 while remaining a reliable target in the passing game. He tied for the team lead in total touchdowns in 2023 with 12 scores, demonstrating effective goal-line toughness alongside his signature perimeter speed.

After a bounce-back 2025 campaign in which he generated 1,399 scrimmage yards and 13 total touchdowns, Etienne concluded his initial contract in Jacksonville before signing with the New Orleans Saints in 2026.  In Jacksonville, he compiled 3,798 rushing yards, 25 rushing touchdowns, 168 catches for 1,338 receiving yards, and seven receiving touchdowns.
