gold star for USAHOF

30. James Neal

30. James Neal

James Neal was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins close to the 2011 trade deadline, and it was the year after where he would put forth his best year in professional hockey.

In 2011-12, Neal not only made the All-Star Game, but the Left Wing was named a First Team All-Star.  He would have 40 Goals, which was good enough for fourth in the league, and his 18 Power Play Goals were league leading.  He would have 81 Points overall, a number that placed his seventh.  In the lockout shortened season that followed, Neal had 21 Goals, which had him tenth overall.  Neal played one more year for the Penguins with a 61 Point year.

Neal would be traded to the Nashville Predators, and his overall run with the Penguins saw him score 184 Points in 199 Games.
