The backbone of every “I Love Lucy” episode was the antics of Lucille Ball and what zany antics she would get herself in. Sometimes, it might involve her husband, the Cuban born bandleader, Ricky Ricardo, and once in a while we would see his musical prowess. We aren’t sure where a Cuban calypso singer falls into the Fictitious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but this is one of the most iconic Sitcoms of all time. Does this not help? From a film that was pegged to be a hit (until people saw it), Empire Records, we have a visit from Rex Manning, a teen idol turned has been who appears at the store to do an autograph signing.
