We have seen Brian Griffin, the contrarian alcoholic dog sing a few times on Family Guy, but on a specific episode of Family Guy he tried to take it to a new level by pairing up with Frank Sinatra Jr. (and of course with some help from Stewie) and he formed a new Rat Pack of sorts. This was not the funniest of Family Guy episodes, though it taught us that Brian Griffin: Las Vegas Lounge Singer makes perfect sense, especially when we heard him sing a few other times in the series. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: Family Guy (2006) Actor: Seth MacFarlane Songs you might remember: None Why you should vote for him: This is one of the most beloved animated characters of all time. Why you should not vote for him: As we have said many times, lounge acts probably don’t belong in the Hall of Fame. {youtube}

An underappreciated British film, Breaking Glass depicts the rise and fall of Kate, an aggressive Singer/Songwriter who is determined to do whatever it takes to make it to the top. Although the film, had a decent run in England, it failed to gain any traction in North America, though we will say that this entry probably deserves a look more than half of the others on this ballot. The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Breaking Glass (1980) Actors: Hazel O’Connor (Kate) Mark Wingett (Tony) Gary Tibbs (Dave) Jonathan Pryce (Dave) Peter Hugo Daily (Ken) Songs you might remember: Big Brother Why you should vote for them: This is a decent film; give it a look! Why you should not vote for them: We are guessing you didn’t give it a look! {youtube}

Maybe we should have nominated them as the “Silver Platters”, which was the name that the Brady Bunch kids called themselves when they competed on the Pete Sterne Amateur Hour, in the hope that they could win the $100 prize money so that they could purchase an engraved silver platter for their parent’s anniversary. They didn’t win (they lost to poodles….seriously they lost to poodles), but we wager a lot more people remember their lip-synched songs by the Bradys than any dog show. The “band” would reappear a couple more times in the run of the series. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: The Brady Bunch (1969-74) Actors: Barry Williams (Greg Brady) Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady) Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) Eve Plumb (Jan Brady) Mike Lookinland (Bobby Brady) Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady) Songs you might remember: It’s a Sunshine Day Time to Change Keep On Why you should vote for them: As cheesy as this was, if you lived in the era, you knew the songs. Why you should not vote for them: The music was not very good. {youtube}

From Malibu’s Most Wanted, we have a comedy about a wannabe white rapper (Jamie Kennedy) whose obsession with African American culture causes him to be an embarrassment for his politician father. So what do you do when you in this situation? You try to scare him “white” of course! We did get to watch the aspiring rapper stink up in a Rap battle; in a performance that we have to think only Kennedy could give. We aren’t sure what that really means here. The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Malibu’s Most Wanted (2003) Actor: Jamie Kennedy Songs you might remember: We don’t know if his raps had a name. Why you should vote for him: Jamie Kennedy had his series of fans; if you are one of them here is your candidate. Why you should not vote for him: As a rapper, he stunk. {youtube}
