Trocheck showed that he was a proven commodity, and he followed his All-Star year with his best season in Hockey, a 75 Point year, which would be his best in Florida. He played two more years in Florida, but injuries piled up, and he never had another 40-Point year as a Panther again. The Panthers dealt him to Carolina during the 2019-20 Season, and Trockek left Florida after 282 Points in 424 Games.
