Ziggy are you for real? Dierdorf the best of his ers, NoWay! Ever heard of Rayfield Wright, Jon Kolb, Leon Gray Art Shell Ron Yary, Mike Kenn Keith Fahnhorst, Russ Washington Jackie Slater. Its too late to pump your stomach you drank all the koolaid. you can have Dieerdorf. what did Al Michaels and Frank Gifford tell you how great he was. Steve Largent, seattle often only sent 1 or 2 players out with max protection and he was probably targeted 20 times a game. inflated stats like charlie joiner and tim brown he crossed the picket line in 87 to keep his streak alive of consecutive games with a catch. overrated streak just like him. Are you related to Dierdorf or Largent?

You need a better argument than pointing to some Hollywood fluff to be convincing here. Now Roaf wasn't even a good player? Let's not get carried away here.

lardassl played 13 years 2 postseason appearances 1 w 2 Losses johnathan ogden led a terrible balt offense into a super bowl. lardass played with a more talented offense in k.c. he was probably the 4rth best lineman on that team with will shields brian waters tim grunhard. brian waters got offensive player of the week when they scored 8 rushing touchdowns not lardass. if you put in lardass then we have to put pat harlow bruce wilkerson ron essink dennis lick angelo fields bubba paris steve august tunch ilkin brian holloway inright along with it. you can take deerdork out of the fame to. he hung around as a terrible announcer and they still put state the obvious deerdork into the hall 13 years 3 playoffas o wins 3 Losses and he was a RIGHT TACKLE . russ washington jon kolb would be much better choices.

Postseason appearances and superbowls don't make a great player, especially not at the offensive line. If they did Mark Schlereth would be in the hall. Give credit where credit is due. Your kidding me if your telling me Waters was better than Roaf, and he never played with Grunhard. Will Shields was better but what does that prove, Shields is a first-ballot hall of fame lock.

You forgot to mention how he ran over your dog. I mean, he obviously had to do something to you to be so hateful. Lardass? Deerdork? You must be Mr. Perfect to so ably throw out insults like that? How's your NFL resume?

will roaf is overrated. he got picked for a bunch of pro bowls, big deal. if he was so great why did the saints unload him in his prime ? LIABILITY AT LEFT TACKLE. there are a lot of overrated football players tim brown steve atwater dennis smith john lynch steve largent lincoln kennedy and some group that thinks there hall worthy

Dennis Smith? Lincoln Kennedy? Who in the world thinks they're HOF-worthy?They unloaded Roaf in his prime. Big deal. Players move on for a number of reasons.Did you see Largent play? How is he overrated?

Could someone explain to me how Dan Dierdorf doesn't belong in the hall of fame? Dierdorf was the best tackle of his era and just because the Cardinals didn't have a lot of success doesn't mean he wasn't a hall of fame caliber player. Besides, he got inducted in 1996, 15 years ago, so there's no point in arguing anymore. So, CC, what are you gonna do about the whole situation with Willie Roaf. Are you gonna move him down signifigantly or keep him about where he is on the 2011 version of the list?

I do not think Shields is a first ballot hall of famer. I think however that he is a hall of famer unlike his teammate. BTW how does a guy get selected to so many pro bowls in a row without being on a consistent winner? Shields is kind of like the Barry Sanders of offensive lineman. Really talented but couldn't win the big game. And anyone who does not consider winning no matter what the position as part of the criteria for being great is drinking the media kool-aid.
