Top 100 Negotiations!

It seems to be closer to every other year that they induct a woman. I don't think that's by design but I think they're comfortable enough not inducting one. Where as they can't go a class without a minority.

Like I said earlier though, Cyndi Lauper is my celebrity alternate. If they can't get Ali, I gotta think given it's the 30th WrestleMania that she's on the radar. I suspect she got beat out last year because they had already decided on Trish Stratus and figured they could pair her with Vince's buddy Donald.

Lita is the biggest Diva induction they have left. I'd like to think they'd hold off on inducting her until a rainy day. Vince held off on inducting Ricky Steamboat and Ted DiBiase for years because he knew they were sure things. But it's very possible they'll just go right ahead and induct her.

Elizabeth won't go in before Savage and I don't think he's on the table this year. Though maybe I'm wrong and Savage is going in.

Chyna won't go in without DX and while there's been a lot of talk about DX, it's hard for me to believe they'd induct DX before HHH gets a singles induction first. Plus with HHH and HBK playing heels on television, it might be better to wait until they are faces. Not to mention they have another faction option with the Freebirds or even the NWO with Hogan back in the fold.

I'd say Sable might be on the table (that rhymed) since she's married to Brock Lesnar and will be at WrestleMania 30 anyways. WWE can always dance around how raunchy her gimmick used to be. But it's hard for me to give up one of those spots to her. They need a tag team, they need a minority, they need a super heavyweight, they need a celebrity, and they need a headliner and co-headliner. Then with Bearer, Koloff, and Thesz there just doesn't seem enough room for an off hand Sable induction.

I certainly wouldn't announce Elizabeth in the same video as Savage like Ellering with the Road Warriors. Randy did have a widow and that would be very awkward. She might be inducted in the same class but separately.

Not saying there are issues with inducting Lita, but there aren't any real issues with inducting Sable, Cyndi Lauper or Madusa to be honest.

Is Chyna still under a porn contract? Last report I read earlier this year said she moved to Japan. She also posted a message online at the time which included a comment saying she had recently spoke with Vince McMahon and is on good terms with WWE and wants to keep it that way. Plus X-Pac made a porno with her and they're still willing to do business with him. Hulk Hogan even has a sex tape out there. There's really nothing the edit room can't handle with the HoF ceremony broadcast.

I think if the mainstream press were to even take notice of the induction, they'd probably just think it was on par for the course of WWE. I don't think many understand or realize WWE evolved since 1999.

It really just comes down to the sponsors. WWE recently sent out a press release stating that when their network launches next month, Chris Benoit will be seen in footage. The decision was made. They did not however send out a press release stating that Chyna will be seen in footage. I'd at least take that as a sign that they don't see her as a huge issue.

Also if Chyna and Vince actually did have a conversation last year then I am guessing Vince doesn't care how she poked fun at them. We all know the things Vince has done over the years to take shots at his enemies. Plus Vince does tend to forgive or at least ignore past issues in the name of business.

But we'll see. If Chyna stays away from the porn and DX is inducted later rather than sooner, it can only help.




Lita is certainly their biggest diva induction left and probably one of their easiest to make happen. She really should be in the top 100.



On a side note, old school RAW is this Monday. I wonder if X-Pac will show or if it'll just be the NAO again.
