43. Jethro Pugh

Playing his entire 14-year career with the Dallas Cowboys, Jethro Pugh was a late round pick from small Elizabeth City State College, and he would do that small North Carolina institution proud on football’s brightest stage.

Pugh was a backup in his first two seasons in Dallas, but in his third season (1967), he became the starting Left Defensive Tackle, a position he held until 1978.  Pugh was never a Pro Bowl Selection, but he was a Second Team All-Pro in 1967 and helped Dallas win Super Bowl VI and XII.  His higher-profile teammates may have overshadowed him, but he had 97.5 unofficial Quarterback Sacks, an excellent number.
