Anti-Flag

With a name like Anti-Flag you would expect to hear an anti-establishment Punk Band, and that is exactly what you get! They wear the American flag upside down and though they don’t seem to have much positive to say about anything, you never have to guess where they are coming from. A Punk band with decent ability, Anti-Flag may fly the Punk flag which the Hall of Fame loves, but remember they likely fly that one upside down too!

Zao

If Heavy Metal is having trouble getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is there any real reason to think that any Metalcore band will enter? I think we know the answer. If any does, perhaps it might be the hard working Christian influenced, Zao from West Virginia who established a solid core following in the late 90’s….but again, who are we kidding?

The Amps

Kim Deal should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in some capacity, though we do not think that her post Breeders project, The Amps, will be the way in which she enters Cleveland. With only one album, which although was very good, the Amps were a nice footnote to her stellar career, but not much more than that.

Slash's Snake Pit

Justifiably inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Guns ‘N’ Roses, Slash led a Hard Rock project in 1995 aptly named Slash’s Snakepit. The band never took off the way that GNR did, but how could it? Many artists have entered the Hall a second time but there is little reason to think that Slash will be able to do so with this project.
