43. Rosey Grier

When you think of Rosey Grier, the first thought is always his role as a member of the Fearsome Foursome of the Los Angeles Rams.  That might be the first reaction, but is it the correct one?  New York Giants fans might disagree.

Grier was a Third Round Pick in 1955, playing at Defensive End in his first campaign in the National Football League.  The Penn State alumni moved to Right Defensive Tackle the following year, and he would have his most productive season in the National Football League as ’56 was his first (and only) First Team All-Pro year, and he was a huge component of New York’s NFL Championship Team.

Grier would go to his second Pro Bowl in 1960, and he helped keep the Giants as top contenders for years before he was traded to the Rams.
