Fat, Horny, Black and Joe

Fat Black Horny and Joe
We never saw them play, as right before they were about to go on at their first gig at a prison they realized they knew no songs. Still, we were treated to their karaoke version of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” and the funniest mismatched outfits this side of Quahog.

Faith + 1

Faith 1
You have to love Eric Cartman. The rotund one always has a scheme and upon learning that Christian music was always a consistent seller, he recruited Butters and Token to create “Faith + 1”, a Christian Rock group. As expected, Cartman was disingenuous, and he basically took love songs and inserted Jesus’ name into it. It was not musical genius, but it was great parody.

The Fabulous Dawgs

Fabulous Dawgs The
From the underappreciated concept album (The Turtles present the Battle of the Bands) by the Turtles we have an album where different “bands” appeared. This allowed the group to not only stretch their skills musically, as each “band” had a completely different sound and also showcase their humor.

The Fabulous Baker Boys

Fabulous Baker Boys
Another that we almost forgot about, The Fabulous Baker Boys was a lounge Jazz act, whose lives changes when they added a female to their act. The film had decent music, superb acting, but is this a musical genre that may not be appropriate for the Hall of Fame that we are creating here. We are very curious to see how many votes are accrued here.

Movie Appeared:
The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989)

Actors:
Jeff Bridges (Jack Baker)
Michelle Pfeiffer (Susie Diamond)
Beau Bridges (Frank Baker)

Songs you might remember:
My Funny Valentine

Acting wise, this had few equals.

Does a lounge act belong here?
