Handful of Peter

Handful of Peter
Inspired by a local talent show, Peter and Lois Griffin elect to resurrect their old folk duo. They remembered themselves as brilliant, and thought that is what they recaptured. Unfortunately, they also adopted their old practice of doing drugs before their performances, and the end result was the two of them wailing incomprehensibly.

Hampton the Hamster

Hampton the Hamster
As the Internet exploded with porn, the other end of the spectrum gave us a high-pitched dancing hamster. If there was one thing that pop culture has taught us, it is that trying to decipher what will become successful is impossible, so rather than figure out how the Hamster Dance became a minor hit, let’s just say that for a hot minute initially because a Canadian art student wanted to make something cute, and American commerce found a way to make money off it.

The Bullet Points:

The Hamsterdance Album (2000)

Actor:
None

Songs you might remember:
The Hamster Dance

Why you should vote for him:
Dear God, you really shouldn’t!

Why you should not vote for him:
Not only is this a hamster, it is easily the most annoying song on this ballot.

Hamlin Rule

Hamlin Rule
The cheese factor is through the roof here as Martin Mull starred as Hamlin Rule, a Rock and Roll flute player who uses his piping skills to have children steal for him (Seriously). This was of course before he was stopped by Wonder Woman and learned a lesson in life. Thanks Lynda Carter!

The Guys Next Door

Guys Next Door The
In another attempt to replicate the Monkees, The Guys Next Door was a goofy Saturday Morning show featuring a group of young people who lived in a house and performed lame comedic sketches. They also performed as a boy band and actually had a minor hit in the United States, though after that and their thirteen episodes, that was about it.

TV Show Appeared:
The Guys Next Door (1990)

Eddie Garcia
Patrick J, Dancy
Bobby Leslie
Damon Sharpe

There may have been only 13 episodes, but they did have a dedicated fan base.

Why you should not vote for them:
Boy Bands are bad enough for many, this one did not even last long.
