Kaptain Kool and the Kongs was a Rock band created for the Krofft Supershow; a Saturday Morning children’s variety show from the 70’s. They were presented as wacky and goofy (and frankly acted like they had too much sugar or perhaps a different substance) though were mostly just annoying; though most of things produced by the Kroffts had those qualities.

Actors: Michael Lembeck (Kaptain Kool) Debra Clinger (Superchick) Michael McMeel (Turkey) Louise DuArt (Nashville) Bert Sommer (Flatbush)
Songs you might remember: And I Never Dreamed
Why you should vote for them: They were the focal point of a show that did last two seasons.
Why you should not vote for them: Voting for anyone named Kaptain Kool…isn’t very cool.
We have to admit we get a real big kick out of this one. Kandy Floss was a fake band that was created only for the purpose of convincing 10 B-Level British celebrities that it was real. Confused? Let’s see if we can clear this one up.
There is something special about a band that made all of their instruments from discarded items at a junkyard and who sing moralistic tales isn’t there? Well, maybe there is not, but on the episodes of the animated series, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, that is what we got, and it is something that anyone who saw the show remembers vividly. That might translate into a few votes here.
The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (1972-85)

The Fictitious Band: Fat Albert (Lead Singer and plated a bagpipe type accordion made from a radiator and a funnel. Mushmouth (Bass…we think) Dumb Donald (Trombone) William Cosby (Drums) Russell Cosby (Xylophone) Weird Harold (Harp) Rudy (Banjo) Bucky (Organ)
Songs you might remember: The Opening Theme
Why you should vote for them: This cartoon lasted more than 99 percent of all other Saturday Morning ones, and had quite the staying power. We wager that most people over the age of forty know that theme song.
Why you should not vote for them: Was this band even remotely good?
If you are the fictitious bubble gum Country princess does this qualify for a Fictitious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? When you are as cute as Hayden Panettiere, we think it might be worth a few votes. The Taylor Swift/Carrie Underwood knock off is getting solid reviews for her role, so this would not surprise us to see this entry do well; especially if Nashville remains on the air.
The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: Nashville (2012-)
Actors: Hayden Panettiere
Songs you might remember: Boys and Busses Telescope Used
Why you should vote for her: She emulates some of the biggest stars in the business.
Why you should not vote for her: The country factor could come in play here.
