Kids Incorporated

Kids Incorporated
Here is one we thought we buried forever. Lasting for almost ten years, Kids Incorporated was a Saturday Morning show that featured a bunch of kids singing Pop Music covers. In the real canon of modern pop culture it is the show that first launched the career of Stacy Ferguson who we all know as “Fergie”. Beyond that this was standard Disney drivel that was best forgotten.

Why you should vote for them:
Beyond a crush on Fergie, (or Jennifer Love Hewitt, who also got her start here) there is no real reason here.

Why you should not vote for them:
Kiddie pop covers should never enter any Hall of Fame.

Kidd Video

Kidd Video
In what we thought was one of the more interesting cartoons of the 1980’s, Kidd Video was an MTV inspired creation that was half live, half animated and all Rock and Roll. The premise was a teen band that gets transported to the “Flipside”, which is animated and an evil record producer with the hope of making them their musical slaves chases them. A video would end each episode, and though there were only 22 created, it still resonates fond memories for many today.

Kick

Kick
The Rock and Wrestling connection took the pop culture world by storm in the mid-80’s and Hollywood took notice by making a film…that wasn’t very good. Played by a bunch of nobodies, Kick was the band who went on the road with Rowdy Roddy Piper and Face from the A-Team. It was a good thing that Piper was there as he distracted from the fact that Kick…sucked.
