Roberto Luongo

The name Roberto Luongo either made fans cheer or cringe, but although he has not yet won a Stanley Cup, he was a member of Team Canada’s Gold Medal win in 2010 and 2014 and on the 2004 World Cup winning team. Luongo led the NHL in Saves twice and also was a Second Team All Star twice. His Hall of Fame chances lie on how his final NHL seasons play out.

194. Olli Jokinen

From Finland, Olli Jokinen had a long and healthy career in the National Hockey League, where he played over 1,200 Games in the most important professional league in Hockey.  The Finnish star would have three straight seasons with the Florida Panthers, where he scored 70 or more Points, and he would finish with an even 750 Points over his professional career.  Jokinen represented Finland internationally many times, helping his country win three medals at the Olympics.

245. Jean-Sebastien Giguere

While Jean-Sebastien Giguere only finished as high as fourth place in Vezina Trophy voting (2007-08), he will always be known for his playoff performances with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim/Mighty Ducks.  It was in the 2003 Playoffs that Giguere led the lower-seeded Mighty Ducks to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they faced the juggernaut Detroit Red Wings.  Giguere couldn’t take them to victory, but he had a postseason leading 1.62 Goals Against Average and .945 Save Percentage and was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner.

1. Jarome Iginla

One of the best and most resected power forwards in his era, Jarome Iginla emerged as a physical presence and a very consistent scorer. Currently, Iginla holds the record for the most Goals and Points in Calgary Flames history and has led the NHL in Goals twice and Points once. With three First Team All-Star selections under his belt, and the 1,000 Point plateau hit, Iginla has a resume that should get him inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.  It also needs to be discussed that Iginla won the Gold Medal with Canada at the World Hockey Championship, the World Cup and the Olympics twice.  Pretty impressive wouldn't you say?
