Live Music Head

Special Teams receives very little love from the Football Hall of Fame. The greatest Punter in NFL History, Ray Guy isn't in. We don't expect another Place Kicker to get in the Hall either. Steve Tasker has been a semi-finalist for the Hall, but we believe that this is as far as he will get. This has led to a lot of sports columnists (including the NFL on FOX) to discuss a man who is not even 30 years old yet. That man is Devin Hester.
Right now, Hester is a game changer. Opposing teams kick away from him, and when they don't they are destroyed in their local publications for even considering to kick in his general direction. Even with the altered rules this season which has resulted in far more touchbacks in the NFL, Hester continues to set the record books on fire. Already a member of three Pro Bowls, Hester is already the All Time Leader in Punt Return Tocuhdowns and is rapidly climbing the All Time Punt Return Yards Standings. The difference maker is also a fixture on Kickoff Returns and is a solid option among the Bears Wide Recieving corps. Is it just us, or are we seeing a serious Special Teams superstar emerging as a Canton hopeful beofre our eyes? If he keeps this pace up for the next three years, we would say yes.
