From the hit Netflix series, Orange is the New Black, we learn that future warden, Joe Caputo once had rock and roll dreams but continues to plug away in a bar band called Sideboob. Playing Jersey style rock, Caputo and company aren’t likely to make it, but it is worth noting that his backup band are a legit indie band called Adopted Highways who would collaborate with “Caputo” to put out an EP.

Can Meryl Streep do wrong?
The answer is no.
The goddess of acting appears at a late 50’s rocker chick still looking for a big break but realistically in nothing more than a bar band. Streep’s range gives us sadness, comedy and pathos better than anyone and damned of we didn’t want Ricki and the Flash to have been successful had we been able to change the fictional rock past.

If you want to make your vote based on fictional success is there anyone else you can vote for other than Lucious Lyon?
The patriarch of the Lyon family, Lucious Lyon is former drug dealer turned rap mogul. His success is presented on a Jay-Z level…only much higher. Younger rappers view him as an icon, and based on his perceived age, he probably would be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by this time.
The only think that can stop J.R. Ewing meeting Jay-Z is the show itself and if it continues on its epic path. As of this writing, the show is a major hit, but time will be needed to understand its legacy.
