70. Bobby Abreu

While Bobby Abreu is not considered by many to be a Hall of Fame baseball player, the fact remains that he is a very patient hitter with a high On Base Percentage who was a master of working the pitcher’s count.  He would finish his career a shade under 60 bWAR and 2,500 Hits and had a much better career than the average baseball fan realized.

Alfonso Soriano

Alfonso Soriano went to seven straight All Star Games (one of which he was named the All Star Game MVP) and was a fan favourite for many.  Soriano is a member of the 2,000 Hit Club, the 400 Home Run Club, has for Silver Slugger Awards, a career .500 Slugging Percentage and a Stolen Base title, however the Hall of Fame might elude him, and perhaps by a wide margin.

Alex Gonzalez

Known for his above average defensive skills, Shortstop, Alex Gonzalez was a member of the World Series Champion Miami Marlins from 2003.  Gonzalez was an All Star in 1999, and while he had a long career, his one digit bWAR might very well keep him off of the Hall of Fame ballot.

Adam Dunn

Twice an All Star, Adam Dunn showcased a lot of power over his Major League career as he went deep 462 times and had an OPS of .854, which puts him in line with many Hall of Famers, however there is a lot of relevant stats that will keep him out.  Dunn struck out 2,379 Times, considerably more than his 1,631 Hits.  He has a Defensive bWAR near -30 and his overall bWAR is 16.9, which is more than enough to keep him out.
