Brad Lidge spent his entire career as a Relief Pitcher and in 2008, he would easily have his most memorable season where he won the National League Comeback Player of the Year, the NL Rolaids Reliever of the Year, finished fourth in Cy Young Voting, never blew a Save and won the World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies. Overall he recorded 225 Saves in his career.

Ben Sheets was always poised for greatness, but it often seemed as if the four time All Star spent more time fighting back issues than he was throwing pitches. Sheets still was a solid Pitcher, though don’t we always wonder what would have happened had he been healthy throughout his career? He probably would have received at least more than the votes he will get in 2018.
