Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb
A prom night dumpster baby of a film, “Howard the Duck” gave us the Runaways inspired “Cherry Bomb”. Granted, it was a mess, as was the film, but we admit we have a thing for late 80’s Lea Thompson. Are we the only ones? Nah, couldn’t be.

Chemical Toilet

Chemical Toilet
How many people listened to a song and determined that it took no talent to become successful and wanted to form a band despite having an obvious lack of talent? Come to think of it, we feel the same every time we heard Blink 182.

This was the source of an episode in the respected FX Comedy, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, where the “Gang” forms a band called “Chemical Toilet”. Near as we can tell, they had one sloppy gig at Paddy’s Pub and broke up shortly after.

The Cheetah Girls

Cheetah Girls The
You have to hand it to Disney, who created fabricated act after fabricated act. The one in question here is the Cheetah Girls, headlined by Raven Symone, which generated a series of Disney TV Movies. Was it good? Not really, but it did generate a lot of viewers, sales of their products and was a success in general. That in itself places it stories ahead of many of the others on the ballot.

The Bullet Points:
Movies Appeared:
The Cheetah Girls (2003)
The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006)
The Cheetah Girls 3 (2008)

Actors:
Raven Symone (Galleria “Bubbles” Garibaldi)
Adrienne Ballon (Chanel “Chuchie” Simmons)
Sabrina Bryan (Dorinda “Do” Thomas)
Kiely Williams (Aquanette “Aqua” Walker)

Songs you might remember:
Nothing really

Why you should vote for them:
They were successful on television. That should mean something.

Why you should not vote for them:
For a group with three TV Movies, they really did not have any signature songs.

Charlie Waffles

Charlie Waffles
Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) was an alcoholic womanizer on Two and a Half Men and we loved every minute of it! One of the times that we laughed out loudest was when the man who made his living doing commercial jingles, found that there was a lot of money to be made as a children’s singer; hence we have “Charlie Waffles” who didn’t sound like any kids singer we remember! We actually wish that this persona made more appearances, if for no other reason than to hear those songs again!

The Bullet Points:

Two and A Half Men (2007)

Actor:
Charlie Sheen

From Diaper to Wiper

Why you should vote for him:
Do you see that list of songs? How do we buy this album?

Why you should not vote for him:
This is a “children’s singer”.
