Al Percolo

Al Percolo
Albert Brooks is often described as being a very funny man, but his movie efforts have been either hit or miss; or in this case a swing and a miss. Brooks was the scout turned agent, Al Percolo, and though we did not care for “The Scout”, we will remain fans of Albert Brooks.
Adrian Balboa
Was it her mousy look or mad skills at the pet store that attracted Rocky Balboa to her? For us, one of the great cinematic mysteries was what did Rocky see in Adrian, as she didn’t have money or looks, or even much of a personality that we could see due to her shyness. Her brother (Rocky’s best friend, Paulie treated her like crap) and other than look concerned when Rocky was fighting, we don’t know really remember much of anything else she did. Scratch that, we remember her confidence in screaming “You Can’t Win!” to Rocky when he needed to avenge the death of Apollo Creed at the hands of Ivan Drago.

Henry Wiggen

Henry Wiggen
One of the great sports movies of the 70’s, Bang the Drum Slowly was part Brian’s Song, part of Mice and Men. Michael Moriarty played the star Pitcher who took care of his slower friend and Catcher played by Robert DeNiro. It was one of the kinder roles in sports films and in many ways, the older brother that we all wish we could have. The film may be forty years old, but we are a little surprised that its legacy is not as strong.

Zeus

Zeus
How often do you see a cross eyed, uni-browed, roided up, monosyllabic, African American villain in a movie? Let’s hope only this one time.

The Bullet Points:
Movie Appeared:
No Holds Barred (1989)

Actor:
Tom “Tiny” Lister

Why you should vote for him:
Perhaps, as a residual effect from his role as Deebo in the Friday movies?

Why you should not vote for him:.
This movie stunk.
