97. Kid Rock
All Summer Long
Highest Billboard Position:
#23 in 2008

We can imagine it now.  The summer of 2008, where white trash emerged from their trailer park and gathered around and said to each other in their John Deere caps “Dang, they just put two songs together I like”.  And why wouldn’t those hillbillies do that?  Kid Rock just gave them their new anthem by putting together “Werewolves of London” and “Sweet Home Alabama” and presto; an embarrassment to American Music was created.  We will give Kid Rock credit for reinventing his trashy persona into a country crossover but damn can’t he just get another midget and be relevant again?
