One of the most influential and successful professional wrestlers in WWE history has left us with the passing of “Superstar” Billy Graham.  He was 79 years old.  Graham had been dealing with a myriad of health issues in recent months, most notably organ failure, and had been on life support for the last few days. Born Wayne Coleman, Graham got into bodybuilding in the 1960s, and would train to be a pro wrestler in 1969 under Stu Hart in Calgary, Adopting the name of Billy Graham, (after his friend, Dr. Jerry Graham), he would add the more colorful moniker of “Superstar”, based…

Doyle Brunson, who was considered by many to have been the greatest poker player of all-time, passed away at the age of 89. A ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner (tied for second), and 26-time WSOP final table participant won over six million dollars in earnings. Nicknamed “Texas Dolly”, Brunson was one of the most popular figures of the game, known for his big smile, cowboy hat, and affable personality. Two months ago, The Country Music Hall of Fame announced their 2023 Class, which inducted Patti Loveless, Tanya Tucker and Bob McDill in the Songwriter’s category.  This necessitated a revision of our Notinhalloffame.com Country lists. One of the most recognized southpaws of the 1970s, Vida Blue, passed away yesterday at the age of 73. Debuting in 1969, where in his 12 Games in Oakland, he was ineffective with a 6.64 ERA.  His 1970 callup was different with a 2-0 record over six starts and a pair of Shutouts.  1971 was one of the best seasons ever for an Oakland A’s Pitcher. 1971 was the year where he went 24-8 with 301 Strikeouts and led the American League in ERA (1.82), FIP (2.20), and WHIP (0.952).  Blue won both the MVP and the Cy Young, and he was part…
