Football Hall of Fame Game cancelled

We here at Notinhalloffame are depressed about the cancellation of the Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.  The Hall of Fame inductions will still happen, but for the people of Northern Ohio, this is a much bigger deal that will hurt heir economy.  This is beyond needless in our eyes.

This is too bad, indeed. I'm not so sure how much losing this game will hurt Canton, though. The induction weekend is really a week long festival, with rib burn-offs and all kinds of autograph signings and meet and greets. The game itself is icing on the cake, but it's still a preseason game where the players of consequence don't ever play much. It's nice to have, a big part of the tradition, but Canton will foster on.
