gold star for USAHOF
Claimed in the expansion draft, Yannick Tremblay was an Atlanta Thrasher for five seasons and was at his best in the NHL while playing in the state of Georgia.  Tremblay would hit 30 points twice for Atlanta and 107 of his 125 career Points as a Thrasher.
At some point in time, we plan do take a serious look at all the individual Halls of Fame.  We will get there eventually, and when we do the Winnipeg Jets will now be part of it as they have announced their own Hall of Fame.

The new Hall will not open empty, as their famed “Hot Line” of Bobby Hull, Ulf Nilsson and Anders Hedberg from the 1970’s will be the first inductees.  The ceremony will take place at the Jets home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 19.

Bobby Hull made headlines when he jumped to the upstart World Hockey Association and signed with the Jets becoming the first hockey player to sign a million dollar contract.  “The Golden Jet” would play for Winnipeg for 411 Games scoring 638 Points.  He would win the WHA MVP Award in 1973 and 1975 and would enter the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983.

Anders Hedberg palyed for the Jests for the four seasons and had over 100 Points in each of them.  Hedberg would later become a member of the Swedish and IIHF Hockey Hall of Fame.

Ulf Nilsson also played for four seasons in Winnipeg and averaged 100 Points per season.  Like Hedberg, he would join the New York Rangers following his WHA run.

It is worth noting that while the Jets are creating their own Hall of Fame, the actual history of the first version belongs to the Arizona Coyotes.  That fact will be reflected on our upcoming Top 50 Winnipeg Jets of all-time.

Still, we here at Notinhalloffame.com would like to congratulate Hull, Nilsson and Hedberg for earning this honor.

29. Jim Slater

One of the longest tenured players in Thrasher/Jets history, with nearly 600 Games Played, Jim Slater was a checking line fixture for years for the organization.  Slater was not much of a scorer, but a locker room “glue guy” who would spend all of his ten NHL campaigns with Atlanta/Winnipeg.  Slater accumulated 138 Points over his career.

28. Kari Lehtonen

Taken Second Overall in the 2002 Draft, Finland's Kari Lehtonen's first five NHL seasons were with the Atlanta Thrashers, where he had an overall winning record of 94-83-17, an impressive feat considering that the Thrashers were basement dwellers.  His best year in Atlanta was in 2006-07, where he was sixth in Goalie Point Shares (14.2).

33. Chris Thorburn

Chris Thorburn played 801 NHL Games, 709 of which were with Atlanta/Winnipeg (2007-17).

30. Dany Heatley

Statistically, Dany Heatley should merit a higher ranking, but in 2003, he crashed his car, which killed his friend and teammate, Dan Snyder, causing him to miss nearly a full season.  Heatley would request a trade from Atlanta to put the past behind him, thus alienating the fan base that stood by him who supported him through the tragedy.

2. Mark Scheifele

Mark Schiefele was taken with the Seventh Overall Pick in 2011, and the native of Kitchener, Ontario, cracked the Jets roster for seven Games that year.  After making it for four Games in the next year, Schiefle was primed to break out as a bona fide NHL player.

14. Marian Hossa

Marian Hossa was an All-Star twice in his two-and-three-quarter seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers.  While his stint in the Peach State was brief, the Slovakian forward made the most of it with a 1.12 Points per Game Average, which would be the highest mark of his career.  Hossa would finish 10th in Hart Trophy balloting in the 2006-07 season and narrowly missed out on a Second Team All-Star nod.  He would later win three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks.

25. Andy Sutton

While Andy Sutton was always known for his defensive skills (he was a Defenceman after all), it was in Atlanta where he put his best numbers offensively with three straight seasons with 20 Points, while even exceeding his blue line metrics.  He scored 87 Points as a Thrasher.
A nine-year NHL veteran, Czech Defenseman Frantisek Kaberle played five of them with the Atlanta Thrashers.

26. Nik Antropov

A member of the Toronto Maple Leafs for most of his career, Nik Antropov spent his last four NHL seasons with the Thrashers/Jets.
Vyacheslav Kozlov played the first half of his career with the Detroit Red Wings, where he was part of the diverse team that won the 1997 and 1998 Stanley Cups.  After a year in Buffalo, he was traded to Atlanta, where he played the last seven of his NHL seasons.

23. Marc Savard

Marc Savard was with the Atlanta Thrashers for the middle part of his career, where he enjoyed some of his most tremendous individual success.

21. Zach Bogosian

The third overall draft pick from 2008, Zack Bogosian, would suit up for the Thrashers on opening night shortly after his 18th birthday.  The American Defenseman has been regarded for his physical style of play, who was usually amongst the leaders in hits for his team.

19. Evander Kane

A former fourth overall draft pick, Evander Kane scored 222 Points over his Thrashers/Jets career though it did have a bit of controversy off of the ice, which bled into issues with his teammates.  Still, Kane’s offensive output does denote a high place on this list.

16. Andrew Ladd

Traded after he won a Stanley Cup for the Chicago Blackhawks (he also won one with the Carolina Hurricanes), Andrew Ladd would become one of the major offensive weapons for the Thrashers/Jets and was quickly named the team Captain.  Ladd would score 20 Goals four times and would probably have had a fifth had he not been traded back to Chicago during the 2015/16 season.

3. Blake Wheeler

The Atlanta Thrashers traded for Blake Wheeler in 2011 and the gifted playmaker has been rewarding the franchise with that decision ever since.

11. Ondrej Pavelec

Czech Goaltender, Ondrej Pavelec, played all but his last NHL season with the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets.

9. Bryan Little

Bryan Little has carved out a nice career in the National Hockey League since he debuted in 2007-08 after being taken in the First Round by the Atlanta Thrashers in the prior year.

10. Tobias Enstrom

From Sweden, Tobias "Toby" Enstrom was a late-round pick in 2003, but stayed in Sweden until 2007.  Enstrom made the team immediately and exceeded expectations as an All-Rookie with a sixth-place finish for the Calder.
