With that said, Bossy always felt that he was in the shadow of other stars. He never won the Art Ross, and once Wayne Gretzky emerged on the scene, fans would always point to Edmonton when discussing the league’s best player. Bossy also did not get credit for the hard work that he put on defence, a skill that he worked very hard to acquire in the professional ranks.
Regardless of how history perceives Mike Bossy, we can state that while he was playing there was no better Right Winger in the National Hockey League. That should be known as fact.
