Kevin O’Shea is on the ballot because we respect that he is a former Heisman Trophy winner…and is also Al Bundy. However we are still trying to wrap our heads around him being outcoached by Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors even though he had a clearly superior team. Oh wait; he channeled Al Bundy. Now it makes sense. The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: Little Giants (1999) Actor: Ed O’Neill Role Portrayed: Pop Warner Head Coach of Urbana, OH Why you should vote for him: We will play the Heisman card. Why you should not vote for him: He lost to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids guy. Impossible!! {youtube}

Although he is an Assistant District Attorney, Kevin MacArthur always came off a little weak to us, as his Fantasy League Team was basically run by his wife, and his unemployed brother constantly took advantage of him. Seems a little weak doesn’t it? The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: The League (2009-) Actor: Stephen Rannazzisi Role Portrayed: Fantasy Football Team Owner Why you should vote for him: He is the “glue” guy of the League who seems to bring everyone together. Why you should not vote for him: The same for all “League” characters; this is a hit on a relatively small channel, and has not been seen by many. {youtube}

We have no problem that saying that we loved the Ken Reeves character on “The White Shadow”. Usually, the authority figure is not what we enjoy, but Reeves was not a teacher who was belittled by his students, but one who instilled fear and respect and was a former athlete (with the Chicago Bulls). Reeves was involved in every episode of the White Shadow, and as the lead role in the first real sports drama on television, we can easily Coach Ken Reeves as an early entry to the Fictitious Athlete Hall of Fame in our Contributor Division. Frankly, he probably should. The Bullet Points: TV Show Appeared: The White Shadow (1978-1981) Actor: Ken Howard Role Portrayed: Head Coach of Carver H.S. Why you should vote for him: He was the pivotal role in the first real sports drama on television. Why you should not vote for him: It is next to impossible to watch reruns without thinking he would get fired within the first two episodes. Damn, we have become to politically correct! {youtube}

“Surrender is not in our creed”. This was the rallying cry for John Kreese, the Vietnam Vet turned sensei that ran the Cobra Kai dojo. That all sounded cool, but membership apparently was exclusive to Southern California rich kids, and his best student lost to a 30 year old teenager who was taught karate in a few weeks by painting a house. Now put that into perspective, shall we? The Bullet Points: Movie Appeared: The Karate Kid (1984) The Karate Kid II (1986) The Karate Kid III (1989) Actor: Martin Kove Role Portrayed: Sensei of the Cobra Kai Dojo Why you should vote for him: You should vote for him because surrender is not in your creed. Why you should not vote for him: Mr. Miyagi basically bitched slapped him at the beginning of Karate Kid II; and did so easily. {youtube}
