49. Tony Collins

From East Carolina, the New England Patriots took Tony Collins in the Second Round in 1981, and he proceeded to have just over 1,000 Yards From Scrimmage as a rookie.

Collins continued his career, providing a dual-threat from the backfield, as he was an adept receiver, peaking with 77 Receptions in 1986.  In 1983, he had his first and only 1,000 Yard Rushing year (1,049) and was named to the Pro Bowl that season.  Collins had four 1,000 Yard plus YFS years for New England, but he became enamored with drugs and was suspended for the entire 1988 season, just after he signed with Indianapolis as a Free Agent.

Following his suspension, he played one game with the Miami Dolphins and then bounced around the Arena Football League for three years with three different teams.  Collins would have 7,003 Yards From Scrimmage with 44 Touchdowns as a Patriot.
